Foamed concrete is a highly air entrained sand cement or cement only slurry with greater than 20% air by volume. The air is created by the introduction of a preformed foam manufactured using the encapsulating bubbles of 0.3-1.5mm diameter.

The material is a lightweight, free-flowing, self-compacting, and highly insulating material. It exhibits good load bearing capacity and resistance to freeze thaw exposure. It is an extremely versatile product,which will flow through small enclosed voids such as sewers and yet when set can be tooled to provide access for services
